Indian Girl's Activities


Indian girls help their mothers plant
and cook. They also play with their sisters, brothers and cousins near the rivers and 
in the forest. At an Indian girl’s first menstruation a Puberty Rite is held. 
This is a ceremony that marks the 
beginning of adult life. There is a 
celebration, after which the young 
Indian woman may get married.
